Women History Month is over but for this African Feminist Magazine, we are just getting started and every day is women’s history month here! You heard?

This History Month, we delved into women and finances, our theme was money matters for the ambitious woman who wishes to live a luxurious life, so luxurious that we can say, “money does not buy happiness.” But until then, we shall chase this money and wealth for we do not glamorize poverty here. Everyone must suffer in this world, better suffer with some money aye?

So we curated topics not only for the women in business but those who wish to begin a lucrative corporate career although it is our wish that all women who read Gemini Spice Magazine start their own business.

You see the years 2020 to 2030 are marked by the Africa Women Development Fund as the year of financial independence for the African woman. So for this remaining 8 years, we must work hard and smart so we can culminate wealthy in 2030- the famous world vision 2030.

The theme for 2022 women history month was “Break The Bias” and we featured five women in the world breaking barriers, shuttering stereotypes and making us proud to be women.

We began by celebrating the outstanding women in Film in Kenya by attending and documenting the WIFA awards 3rd edition themed, “Still She Persisted” held at the Kenya National Theatre on women’s day.
