Reading Time: < 1 minute

The spoils of capitalism
Have increased the contours on your face
Where there were folds of joy
Now there is evidence of burnout
Father it’s unfair that life is like this
But you learnt way before me
And you adjusted
Where the hammer cracked
It left debris
That haven’t mended in years
When was the last time
You smiled?
